Tokyo Dining
Another great thing that draws people to Japan–the food! Cultural culinary dishes and five-star restaurants abound in Tokyo. Around any corner you might find a small establishment that’s sure to delight!
You may be familiar with many Japanese dishes such as sushi and ramen. Master chefs come from all over Japan to ply their trade in our city. Don’t worry–no one stays in business very long if the food isn’t good! Just remember the word osusume (special, recommendation) and get ready for a great meal!
But what about the dishes you don’t see as often where you are from? Don’t worry about it! Enjoy the chatty atmosphere of a yakiniku restaurant, or enjoy the great seafood at one of the many establishments who get their raw materials from the Tsukiji Fish Market. In the cold months, go for the heated sake, in the warm festival times, kakigori might be what does the trick.
So skip the chains during your Tokyo vacation–find a nice Tokyo dining spot and enjoy the chef’s special!
